Cast Them Into The Deepest Sea

Some of you today are suffering, under the fiery darts and flaming arrows of Satan

as he tells you that you’re a loser and that you have no hope. All of us have failed and the great accuser 'the enemy of God's Saints' will point at our sins with his spiritual finger and tell us that we are all 'Losers', we’ll never amount to anything. Lucifer will take every sin, fault, and failure in your life and hold it in front of your minds eye and proclaim that this is who you are. My friend, when Jesus was nailed to the cross he took all that the devil had against us and made the way to redeem us from them. Every failure, every transgression against God and His law.

Jesus made the way so everything brought against our charge, although we are guilty, could be forgiven. Christ nailed our sins to His cross making an open spectacle of the accusers charges, paid for with Christs payment on the cross. Christ has proclaimed I have thrown them into the deepest sea, Micah 7:19. What a wonderful world this would be if the people around us would treat their bitterness this way. Too often Satan the great deceiver is able to use fellow Christians as an instrument of his destruction because of the root of bitterness in their lives and their need to unleash it on someone.

Have you ever had dealings with a friend or employer who refused to be satisfied?

I have and it’s frustrating to say the least to know that no matter how hard you try, they will not be satisfied because of the hardness of their heart. What do you do when in the end, you didn’t give them all that they wanted but you did give them all that you had to give? The people who show forgiveness the least are commonly the ones that need forgiveness the most. We can’t know all the burdens in their hearts and the tragedies that have effected their lives without walking a mile in their shoes, but we are commanded to forgive them with Christ’s teachings as our guide.

And you which were dead in sins, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, forgiving you all your trespasses, And putting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, He even took it out of the way, and fastened it upon the cross, And hath spoiled the Principalities, and Powers, and hath made a show of them openly, and hath triumphed over them in the same cross. Colossians 2 13-15

Do you feel like you have failed today?

Think about when Jesus was hanging on the cross publicly naked and His life’s blood was being drained from the Creator of the Universe. Alone and abandoned on Calvary’s hill bleeding and dying, if it wasn’t for the cross we would all be condemned and laboring under the guiltiness of Satan’s accusations. The cross was the provision for everyone who trusts in Christ. Everything has been nailed to the cross and that’s why peace and joy is in my heart and not the burdens of sin.

Did God give the apostle Paul everything that he asked for? No he did not but, He did give him everything that he needed. God said my grace is sufficient for you. My friend Grace is not only sufficient to save us from sin but it is also sufficient for all our trials and afflictions in our lives. Every time we sin, every time we fail the Lord, Lucifer uses our failures to attempt to box us in, attempting to steal our hope and our joy by telling us, that we are worthless and that there is no power outside of him.

Don’t let your past paralyze you, it makes no difference what’s behind you.

The only thing that matters is who lives within you. There will be times in your life when everything seems to be falling apart, you won’t be able to figure it out and this promise will seem hollow to you. None of us knows what tomorrow holds but, when your life falls apart, Christ will turn your worst trials and tragedies into victory if you will draw from Him, allowing Christ to live through you, you will leave His Love upon the people you meet each day.

Your witness is more precious than gold

and while some people will be drawn to your witness of Christ, others will turn away and avoid you like the plague because your witness reminds them of the moral choices in their lives. God knows your numbered days and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. So proclaim hope in Christ to those around you, seasoned with Forgiveness, pointing souls on this earth to the eternal destiny to come, be the witness that God has called you to be.

Leviticus 19:18 (KJV) Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. "

Ps:28:7: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Ps:32:7: Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Ps:33:3: Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
